Chalky, faded gelcoat machine polished back to a bright, glossy finish, at your marina or in your driveway.

Boat oxidation is the chalky, faded layer that forms on fiberglass gelcoat from sun and water. Oxidation removal uses machine compounding and polishing to take that layer off and bring back colour and gloss. Peak Polish does it at marinas and driveways across Toronto and the GTA, quoted by boat length and how heavy the oxidation is.

Gelcoat oxidizes when UV breaks down the surface. It starts as a dull look and ends as a chalky residue that rubs off on your hand. A wash cannot remove it; the damaged layer has to be compounded and polished off.
To keep it from coming back as fast, finish with a ceramic coating.
